Все началось с того, что братья из Голландии Bobby и Martin Boer экспериментировали с музыкой в течение нескольких лет в своей небольшой спальне. Но, в 1990 году, их первый сингл "Can't Help Myself" стал очень популярным на голландских радиостанциях и стал международным хитом. Братья - авторы Бобби и Мартин назначили рэппера Da Smooth Baron MC, вокалистку Peggy "The duchess" и Gale Robinson для формирования проекта 2 Brothers on the 4th floor.
