Доп. информация. Silverstein образовалась на окраине Торонто (Канада) в местечке Burlington, Ontario в феврале 2000 года. В то время когда музыканты только начинали свою карьеру в закуренных местных клубах, они даже представить не могли, каких высот им удастся достигнуть благодаря своей музыке. Название Silverstein — дань старому детскому писателю Шелби Сильверштейну, на книгах которого выросли участники группы. Мистер Сильверштайн скоропостижно скончался буквально за несколько месяцев до того, как появился одноимённый коллектив. С самого начала Silverstein была всего лишь сайд-проектом музыкантов местных групп, пытавшихся сделать что-то новое, уйти от традиционного звучания punk, metal, emo и hardcore коллективов, заполонивших в тот период американскую и канадскую сцены. Взяв лучшее от Grade, Jersey, Moneen и Maharahj участники группы начинают оттачивать свою манеру написания и исполнения музыки, попутно записываясь везде, где предоставлялась такая возможность.
